This weekend we didn't do too much I guess. Friday Mike had class until 1 and then he told his boss he was going to write up the reports from home (from all the work he did all week), his boss said fine. Well, being the fabulous wife that I am, he showed me how to do the reports and said if I wanted and was bored, I could do some and then we could go and play when he gets out of class. So of course I didn't have much to do that morning so I typed up all of his reports for him. It took me 4 1/2 hours, man, it was hard sitting there for that long and staying focused. So when he got home, we went and ate a freebirds. I have heard that eating spicy foods can help bring on labor so I ate the hottest thing I could find. I didn't get much out of it but the worst heartburn of my life!! The heartburn I think has been the most painful thing throughout the whole pregnancy. It hurts so bad! I eat eggs, I get heartburn. I eat a sandwhich, I get heartburn. NO matter what, I get it. So eating this big freebirds burrito with the hottest hot sauce they have, was maybe not the brightest idea. We went to the store after and it did give me a few small contractions but I couldn't really be excited about that while I'm burping acid. Anyways, so then we came home and took a nap and just spent some quiet time together knowing it won't be like that for too much longer. That night some friends of Mike's came over to hang out for a bit, then we headed to bed.
Saturday we got up and went walking and puttered around the house for a bit then headed out to this market thing that is in Grand Prairie. Mike and I are both anti crowds so when we got there we were like ok, yeah let's not go. hehe. Plus it was about 100 degrees out and didn't see any muscle cars like we were told were going to be there. So instead we went and bought a new digital camera. We spent about an hour looking at them and debating and we finally decided on one, it's really nice. It has a lot of cool features. I will post some pics below from it. Saturday night was our last nice dinner out together before Dylan gets here. We had the best dinner and the best conversation. We just talked about everything and what we hope for after Dylan gets here. I just don't want us to lose ourselves after he's here, we want to remain as close as we are now and as happy as we are. I know a newborn can be hard on parents, so we are going to try our hardest to communicate and work together. Easier said than done I'm sure when a baby is crying non stop, but we are going to give it our best not to forget each other in the mean time.
Sunday was our most productive day I guess. We went walking in the morning and then had some of his other friends show up at our house because they had just finished a run at the lake near the house. So we wall went to brunch and had a good time, then MIke and I got in this mood to clean and organize the house. We started with our laundry room/junk room and threw out SOO much crap, then he did the garage while I did the other closets in the house. It was very refreshing to throw out so much stuff!! I was so proud of him to throw out as much as he did, usually he will find a reason to keep ANYTHING. He's a pack rat wether or not he likes to admit it. :) I usually have to throw things out without him knowing about it. hehe. So anyways, that was our weekend. Not so exciting, but also very nice and productive. Here are some pics that we took before we went out to our dinner and some funny ones we took with our new camera being silly. Enjoy!!
