Are we mature enough for a baby??

I guess we are, I mean we are 30 and 32 years old so you would think so. But last night in Breastfeeding class we sure acted like a bunch of 15 year olds everytime we saw a boob! haha. I swear half the class I was crying from laughing so hard because Mike kept making comments in my ear about things that were on the video or just little funny comments. We were sitting in a U shape and were at the very end so everyone could clearly see us. She gave us fake babies to try and hold correctly to breastfeed and Mike whispered to me "don't be the one that actually pulls out a boob." HAHA, man I cracked up so hard. It was killing me to not be able to laugh. Then this woman on the video was saying something and we thought she said something completely different, man what a class. I saw enough boobs last night though to last me for awhile. We also received this great handout of what your babies poop will look like throughout the first week. Mike and I made the mistake of bringing in dinner (subway so not like a 4 course dinner or anything, hehe), so we are trying to eat as we are looking at pictures of black and a nice shade of green poo. Lovely. :) I only finished half of my avacado sandwich to say the least. :)
I just hope I can do this breastfeeding thing, if it wasn't so good for Dylan, I wouldn't be doing it, but there are just so many benefits, that I have to atleast give it a good try. Plus it's free and the situation that we are about to be in with his truck, Free is awesome!! I did learn a lot though, I just hope I can do it for Dylan's sake.

  1. OMG JILL. I'M LAUGHING SO HARD...YOU GUYS ARE TOO MUCH. I CAN JUST SEE MIKE MAKING HIS LITTLE COMMENTS..
EATING AN AVACADO SANDWICH AND THEN THE POO COMES UP. THAT'S PRICELESS. HAHAHAH
YOU'LL BE ABLE TO BREAST FEED. IT'S SO NATURAL AND IT'S A TIME FOR YOU TWO TO BOND.
AT FIRST IT WILL SEEM LIKE THAT'S ALL HE WANTS TO DO BUT IT WILL GET BETTER. YOU CAN JUST DO IT FOR AS LONG AS YOU CAN TAKE IT.
    THE LONGER THE BETTER.

  4. You guys are made for each other and ya'll crack me up! you gotta have fun that's what makes like worth living. you'll do great at the breast freeding thing. I loved it...It just forms a really cool bond and it soooo good for him. The important thing is you don't get frustrated and you ask the lactation specialist for help as often as you need it. You got this one girl!!
