Life is good again
AAAAAAhhhhh I have regained my sanity and life is so much better today. I was MISERABLE last week and hope I never have to feel like that ever ever ever again!! I felt so much better yesterday finally and then today I finally got to walk and I feel even better. The weekend was good. Friday Mike went out with some friends from work. He had been up with me and waiting on me hand and food wed and thurs and so he wanted to go have a few beers with the guys and I said go right ahead. So he didn't get home until about midnight, I just watched some tv and took a bath and chilled out pretty much. I was still feeling pretty bad by this point and was also suffering from cabin fever like you would not believe. It had been raining all week, I was miserable all week and barely left the house, so I was feeling really anxious on Friday night. I went to bed pretty early until Mike got home and had one too many beers and hadn't eaten a thing so he asked if i would make him something to eat really quick. So I got up from sleeping (wasn't sleeping that good since I felt bad anwyays) and started making him something to eat when not 2 mins later he was already asleep in the recliner. I was like you punk!! hehe. So I covered him up and went back to bed myself!! He's so silly. Then Saturday we woke up and his parents said they were coming in town, so I had to make sure I got the house cleaned and ready for them. I started to feel a tiny bit better by this point, but was still not feeling too good because I hadn't eaten much in the past 3 days. So we made breakfast and then waited for them to arrive. I was supposed to attend a baby shower that morning too but there was just no way. I was not feeling good at all and hadn't gotten the house ready for his parents or done anything since like Wednesday or slept much, so there was just no way I was going to make it unfortunately. Anyways, we all went and had lunch then Mike and his dad went to a car show. His mom and I just lounged around talking and watching a few movies. It was pouring outside so there wasn't much to do. We finally decided that we needed to get out of the house about 5 and of course it happened to be when like the eye of the storm hit!! She had a small umbrella for me to use, but it ended up kicking my butt instead. So there are like 100 mph winds, lightening like you wouldn't believe and the rain was going sideways so hard you could barely see in front of you. We were both like, why did we wait until now to come out!! So we finally opened the door to go inside and I thought I was in a hurricane. I put the umbrella up and it flipped inside out and was sticking straight up, plus you know where it clicks on top so it stay up,, I got the skin from my finger caught in it, so my finger is getting pinched and bleeding and I have no umbrella because it's doing nothing at this point and oh I have white pants on. :) So what seems like a mile later, we get inside and there are about 20 people standing at the door because they are waiting for it to lighten up. They are all laughing at us, or maybe just me, I'm not sure. Luckily we were laughing too, it was pretty amusing I have to say. So I had to do some Target shopping in my see through soaking wet white pants and makeup running down my face, oh and blood on my white pants from my finger with no skin left from the umbrella. It was FANTASTIC!! We got a kick out of it, it did lighten up our day stuck in the house I guess. :) So then later on they all went to dinner and I stayed home. I started feeling bad again and pretty much went to bed soon after they got back. Sunday I woke up feeling soo much better and was happy to be alive instead of wishing death upon myself from how bad I felt the week before. :) It was a good weekend though. We had a great time visiting with his parents and Mike always loves it when they come to visit. They got to see the nursery and stuff too, which was cool. It looks so much better in person than it does in the pics, so I was glad they got to see it. I told them the next time they come, they will have a new grandson!! How exciting. Well, that was our weekend...
