We racked out soon after we got there though, we were tired! Parker woke up about 7am and was asking for his nana (my mom) since she was the last one there when he went to sleep. I said uncle mike and aunt jill are here to play with you for a few days. After he saw Mike, he was happy, they have a good time together. So we did the regular routine and had breakfast and a short video while we could wake up and stuff. So we got in the car and Parker said "I want to hear womaniza" He LOVES the song by Britney Spears "womanizer". So I said ok, let me try and find it. My sisters car was confusing though because there were numbers like 1,2,3,4,5 on top with a place for cds to go. So we were pushing those numbers thinking that changed the cd. We did this for like 5 mins and the whole time he was saying "not this song, not this song, not this song, womaniza, wominaza!! Mike and I were like "we are trying!!!!" hehe. Finally, I saw that there was another cd changer on the bottom with more numbers for the cd's. He was over it by that point though and wanted veggie tales instead. So we are driving in the pouring rain to get to the museum. He has been there a lot (but they had other exhibits) and he knew where it was and what the building looked like. If anyone knows downtown Austin, or I guess any down town, it's hard to find a parking place! We weren't about to pay $10 to park either. I guess he's used to my sister maybe paying the money and parking close, he's not used to his cheap uncle and aunt! haha. So we had to drive around for about 10 mins looking for a place to park while he's yelling, "why are you still driving?? we passed it, stop stop" over and over. It was so funny. Mike and I were cracking up. I kept saying, we need to find a parking spot and he just kept asking "why are we still driving". He kept pointing at the pay lots and I just said uncle mike and aunt Jill aren't willing to pay money to park there, sorry. haha. Anyways, he had a BLAST at the museum. We got soaked going to the place and coming from it though because it was pouring!! The museum was pretty neat though. he was like a bull in a china closet running from each exhibit, slamming things around then running to the next station. We had to literally run after him. It was fun though!! here are a few pics of the museum.

So after the museum we headed to lunch at Waterloo Ice House to have a burger. They had a playground too but it was pouring. I mean it poured all day long. He did really good at the restaurant though and then they played in the rain on the playground. By this point it was about 2:30 and we knew he was getting alittle sleepy because he was starting to get alittle cranky. So we headed back to the house and said it's quiet time and he needed to go take a nap. He did not like that and started crying and stuff. So we made him go upstairs and play by himself for alittle bit, he didn't have to take a nap, but they are trying to teach him how to play by himself, so we just said go upstairs and play for alittle bit. So for about 45 mins he played and we layed down. After that he still hadn't had a nap. We said lets go ride your bike. So he got on his bike and it was fun for about 10 mins then his sleepiness set in and he was a big grumpy bear. He wouldn't let us walk in front of him, he had to be in front and then he kept trying to ride in the street. I would have to stop him from doing that of course and he didn't like that at all. So he through a huge tantrum, we knew it was because he was tired though. But we made him sit in time out where he fell asleep, poor thing. He slept for about 30 mins. It was like 6:00 by this point so we didn't want him to sleep too long since his bed time was in about 2 1/2 hours, so we went upstairs and he woke up and was still pretty grumpy, but we ate dinner and gave him a bath then we read books and he went to sleep. he was out!! So overrall, it went good with a few kinks, but he's at that age, so we expected a few fights. He's adorable though and it was a good learning experience for us. :) Here are a few other pics...

Mike asked him if he could put his legs behind his head. hehe

Riding his new bike that Sunday at nana's house.
Then Sunday, we woke up and Mike and I took our mom's to a nice brunch for Mothers Day since we weren't here. Then we headed to Mike's parents lake house. They have been doing a TON of work on it and wanted us to see it. It was really nice. It looked so different and just looked beautiful!! It was so peaceful out there. Then we headed out and finally got home about 5:30. It was sooo good to be home! I was worn out like you wouldn't believe.
